Abstract: Open educational resources are educational materials that can be freely downloaded, edited, and shared to better serve all students. (SPARC, 2017). OERs can help disseminate behavior analysis to a wider audience without the barriers of university or program enrollment. While open resources are used widely for high-enrollment undergraduate general education courses, few if any resources exist that accurately portray behavior analysis. This creates a pragmatic barrier to student education and may pose a challenge when related fields (i.e., psychology) attempt to represent our science. This presentation will help learners identify the benefits of OER adoption as well as give some suggestions for how to locate quality OERs in the field of behavior analysis.

Objectives: Learners will identify populations that would benefit especially from the use of OERs compared with traditional modes of education. Learners will be able to identify at least two ways to access OERs in the field of ABA.
