Abstract: Science itself generally provides us with a universal truth and further understanding of the world and it’s phenomena. However, when we begin to consider perspectives on practice, context in which services are rendered, and countless other variables, that universal truth becomes more difficult to convey. This talk will discuss the idea of taking behavior analysis beyond borders and how to effectively navigate the science, delivery of services, and dissemination in the practitioner’s uncharted territory.
Objectives:Identify variables and strategies to identify variables that impact delivery of behavior analytic services. Problem solve ethical dilemmas and code agreements related to culture specific variables. Create a plan for maintaining ethical practice while engaging in flexible behavior change.
