Abstract: This presentation will be an interactive experience in the importance of technological terminology. Learners will watch or cook along side Clint live to learn a simple skill in the kitchen: creating a marinara sauce. We will look at examples and non-examples of recipes that exemplify clear, concise, and complete technological descriptions. Come have some fun, learn a kitchen skill, and see the importance of technological descriptions in a real time interactive presentation! If you plan to cook along you will need 1 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes, 1-2 TBSP of tomato paste and olive oil. Optional ingredients are white onion, garlic, Italian seasonings.


1). Participants will identify examples and non-examples of technological descriptions related to meal preparation behaviors.
